3. Donations & Payments

3.1 Payment Processing

Donations made on this website are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment provider. By making a donation, you also agree to Paystack's terms and privacy policy. Rain Edge International does not store your card details on our servers.

3.2 Donation Use

All donations received are directed to the general operational fund of Rain Edge International, which supports our orphanage, schools, health programmes, and social enterprises. Where a specific purpose is stated (e.g. school fees, child sponsorship), we make every reasonable effort to apply funds accordingly.

3.3 Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable as funds are allocated to child care operations promptly upon receipt. However, if a payment was made in error (e.g. duplicate transaction or wrong amount), please contact us within 7 days at admin@rainedgeinternational.co.ke and we will review the request. Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days.

3.4 Tax Deductibility

Rain Edge International is a registered non-profit organisation. Whether your donation is tax-deductible depends on the laws of your country of residence. We recommend consulting a local tax adviser. We will provide a receipt for every completed donation upon request.

3.5 Monthly & Annual Recurring Donations

If you set up a recurring donation, your chosen amount will be charged on the same date each month or year until you cancel. You may cancel at any time by contacting us at admin@rainedgeinternational.co.ke. Cancellations will take effect before the next billing date.

4. Child Sponsorship

Child sponsorship arrangements are personal commitments between Rain Edge International and the sponsor. By registering as a sponsor, you agree to:

• Treat all information shared about sponsored children with full confidentiality
• Not share photographs, names, or personal details of sponsored children on social media or any public platform without our written consent
• Not make direct unsupervised contact with sponsored children outside of the Rain Edge International framework
• Adhere to our child safeguarding policy, which will be shared upon registration

We reserve the right to terminate a sponsorship arrangement if a sponsor fails to comply with these terms or our safeguarding policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photographs, graphics, logos, video, and design — is the property of Rain Edge International or is used with permission, and is protected by copyright law.

You may share links to our content and reproduce short excerpts (under 200 words) for non-commercial purposes, provided you clearly attribute Rain Edge International and link back to the original page. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute our content for commercial use without express written permission.

The Rain Edge International name, logo, and brand marks are our trademarks. You may not use them without written authorisation.

We do not display identifying information about individual children on this website without the informed consent of the child and their legal guardian.
