Volunteer at the Centre

You don't have to move mountains to change a life. Bring your skills, your time, and your heart — and spend it somewhere that matters.

Volunteers working with children at Rain Edge International
Why Volunteer With Us

Your Skills Are Needed Right Here.

Rain Edge International Centre runs on the collective effort of dedicated staff and passionate volunteers from around the world. When you volunteer here, you are not painting a fence for a photo opportunity — you are embedded in a real community, doing real work with lasting impact.

Work directly alongside our staff — integrated into the daily life of the centre, not watching from the sidelines
Live on-compound so you're always where the action is — mornings at school, afternoons with the children, evenings at church
Experience Ghanaian community life authentically — food, language, culture, worship, and all
Leave skills and systems behind that outlast your visit — we train for sustainability, not dependency

Not for all roles. Teaching assistants, farm helpers, and recreation volunteers do not require formal qualifications — enthusiasm, reliability, and a love for people are enough. Healthcare and construction roles do require relevant professional qualifications.
Yes. All accepted volunteers are housed in our on-compound volunteer accommodation — clean, safe, and secure. You are responsible for your own travel costs to and from Kenya.
