Five departments. One mission. From a safe home to a quality education, community faith, social enterprise and lasting partnerships — Rain Edge International wraps around every person in our community.
The name Sure24 reflects the heart of our home — every child is sure of God's love 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This belief shapes the way we care for every child with compassion, dignity, consistency and hope.
Children are admitted through the appropriate child protection processes in collaboration with the relevant government authorities and child protection agencies, ensuring every placement is lawful, appropriate and guided by the child's best interests. While children are with us, we actively work towards family tracing, family strengthening and reintegration wherever it is safe and appropriate.
Children who cannot safely remain with their families receive full residential care — a secure home, meals, clothing, healthcare, counselling, and education. Residential care is not the destination; it is one part of a broader journey of healing and restoration.
Not every vulnerable child requires residential care. Through full and complementary sponsorship, we support children who remain with their families — helping them stay in school, access essential needs, and grow within the care of their own communities. This strengthens families and reduces unnecessary separation.
Our commitment does not end when a child turns 18. Through the Halfway House, we continue walking alongside young adults as they complete secondary school, vocational training or college — providing the support, guidance and stability they need to transition into independent adulthood.
Whether a child is under residential care or community sponsorship, education becomes part of their journey, from kindergarten through professional certification — three accredited institutions, each feeding into the next, ensuring no learner hits a dead end.

Hands-on, nationally certified skills training in five trade areas. Open to youth in need of skills development and upscaling. Graduates receive a starter toolkit and business mentorship.
Hakika Industrial Park was established on one simple conviction — a centre that can generate its own income will never be entirely dependent on donations. By building sustainable enterprises on the compound and outside, Rain Edge creates local jobs, produces goods that serve the community, and generates income that funds our child care and education programmes directly.
Every enterprise unit on the compound serves a dual purpose — it meets a real need in the local community while generating income that flows directly back into our child care and education budgets. This model reduces our dependence on external funding and ensures the centre's work can continue and grow regardless of donor cycles.
Community members access affordable goods and services. Local employees earn a livelihood. And every surplus goes back to the children. That is what we mean by self-sustaining by design.
Rain Edge International does not exist behind closed gates. Through Rainbow Club and Crosspoint Church, we open our doors every week to the wider community — feeding, serving, worshipping, and growing together.
Every Saturday
Every Saturday, the gates open. Rainbow Club is a community feeding and recreation programme that welcomes neighbourhood children and the Sure 24 Home residents together for a morning of games, activities, and a hot shared meal. No registration required — just come.
Sundays 9:00 AM
Located within the Rain Edge compound, Crosspoint Church is a non-denominational community church that worships every Sunday and runs midweek discipleship, youth programmes, and seasonal outreach. Everyone is welcome — no prior experience of church required.
Three ways to invest in what Rain Edge International does — each with a different level of personal involvement and impact. Every contribution, large or small, goes directly to programme delivery.
Make a direct personal commitment to one specific child. From $40/month you cover meals, school fees, clothing, and healthcare — and receive monthly updates and school reports from your child.
A one-time or recurring donation that goes directly into the general child care fund — meals, healthcare, school fees, and programme delivery. Paystack (card) and M-Pesa accepted.
Foundations, corporates, and government partners can apply to fund specific projects — a classroom, an enterprise unit, a scholarship cohort, or a health programme. We provide full reporting.
